We are delighted to fund five more start-ups after the reasonably successful outworking of our first three last year.
The five have been chosen, a meeting has been held with them, and all five have received their initial funding.
One, Benta, who wished to set up a grocery stall, has already done so, and it is working successfully.
It is very important for each person chosen for “start-up” to have a mentor. Two of the five are being mentored by Peter N., and the other three by Alex C., our photographer, who has had some business training and experience.
Setting up businesses is a way of earning an income to support the whole family.
The start-up costs for the five new micro-businesses are £650.
Let’s pray together for the success of these initiatives!
