A rescue centre at CBCH

Currently, Cherry Brierley is acting as a rescue centre for children needing care and protection. At the beginning of 2024, four children in poor health came to the Children’s Home; they were malnourished and in bad condition.

Our Kisumu Staff were doing their best to ensure that these children received special nutrition care as recommended by the doctor during post-natal check-ups. The social worker, Pamela, also took the four children to the hospital to ascertain their HIV status. We thank God all four were HIV-negative. The social worker, Pamela, and matron, Winnie, created a safe place for children to fit in. Currently, the children are doing well, and their health has improved.
